PICTURE FOR ATTENTION
Hey folks,
Title says it all..
The wonderful spouse and I are taking our time with this whole new process of plane purchasing. We are looking for a plane that fits our mission:
My Wants
- Get IFR/CPL/CFI in the plane... and maybe teach in it? (In it for the long haul towards an ATP cert)
- Modernish IFR Capabilties (Garmin GNS 430W for example?)
- ADS-B OUT Installed
- Using plane for time-building enjoyment with the spouse
- Affordable
- Midlife engine is great
- Needing new paint or new interior is fine with me
- Missing logbooks is probably not okay, but willing to entertain the idea. "Hey, a dog ate my homework once..."
TLDR;
Sell me your Grandpa's Green Bay Packer Green and Yellow Cherokee with the ripped seats and faded interior from the '60s
....especially if he had money for those modern avionics.
In all seriousness, I am probably looking at a Cherokee 140 or something. Would love your thoughts and suggestions.. or even better, your plane
Thanks for your time,
RD
