Soo.... If and when I get my plane back from the avionics shop, my A&P and I are going to remove the INOP ADF. The avioncs guy said it wasn't even hooked up. So, what should I do wit the hole? I wanted to pull the narco transponder and put a king variety one in the center stack, but I was out of money and space there so the Narco is staying over on the right. Is it a PITA (with regards to paperwork and legal mumbo jumbo) to just fabricate another glove box type thing to put on top of the transponder, move the transponder to the bottom/top and fabricate a bigger glove box or am i doomed to just covering it with a plate? I guess I could airgizmo a garmin in there or something but it's kinda out of the way and I've been thinking of selling the quadra and going the iPad/Foreflight route.
