Unfortunately, I broke the comm antenna on my PA-28/160. I'd love the forum's help with a couple questions:
1. What type of antenna is this? RAMI AV-10?
2. Do I need to replace the whole unit or just the rod?
3. Any ideas or leads where I can buy another one?
4. Or should I replace it with a different type? (My radio reception wasn't the greatest before I broke off the antenna. I have a MX-170C. Not sure if the reception was marginal because of the antenna or because of the radio).
