I know its not required at any specific interval for GA aircraft, but I don't recall if my airplane has actually been weighed in the last 30 years. So, with all the changes I've made over the last 6 years, I decided to have my IA weigh it. I also had him weigh it with the 6th and 5th seats removed and plan to create a valid W&B Configuration for both incase I want to remove a seat or two for extra cargo. Anyway, not unexpectedly, my plane gained 138 lbs. of empty weight vs what the most recent calculation was. I can live with that as my useful load is pretty high anyway. I was just thinking how often most of you weigh your aircraft if at all.
