I just wanted to share in a new thread my experience with the Weatherspork app. I previously posted a review based on a 3 day trial-- https://www.piperforum.com/threads/preferred-weather-forecast-tools.13781/page-2#post-189269 --but I wanted to give a fresh take after actually using the app for flight planning. I used the app to plan my flight from L.A. to Seattle and back. On the return I was watching the weather and using the app a few days out and found the Route view and Meteograms super useful. The way imagery is presented so you can scroll through time is very useful as well. The time shiftable route view Meteogram packs in an amazing amount of information in one time shiftable screen. This is the most thought out and useful weather app for pilots I have ever seen. I have no vested interest in this company or product - just so stoked to have discovered it. It is my primary go to for weather planning and is backed up by a Foreflight briefing on the day.

I recommend everyone check out the Weatherspork Youtube channel and maybe jump right in with this video about Thunderstorm planning. Make sure you watch to the end where the Weatherspork views tie in all the info the Imagery would give you into one simple view....
