I have been asking this question in a few places and while some good folks have suggested several interesting new products, I have not quite heard the sort of advice that I am hoping for. I have a mostly polished aluminum finish on my plane. Polishing can be just a little time consuming and I would like to protect it as long as possible between polishings. Every wax type polish that I have tried so far on freshly polished aluminum has either dulled it or even "frosted" it.

Has anyone here had any good experiences with a wax type product on a polished plane?
