In my last airplane, Cherokee 140, I had an autombile style type mat/cover that simply laid on top of the not so great glare shield. It had cut outs for the vents etc so i believe it was made for the airplane.
Now, i have a 73 Arrow, and the glare shield is again in not great condition. I don't yet want to replace ($$$) the entire glare shield, i just want to put something on top of it. I have searched high and low on the web to find some one who makes one. I contacted Airtex but have not heard back from them. My next steps would be to create a template and simply buy some (FAA approved) materials and make it myself, but rather find a professionally made one.

Does anyone know where i might be able to find this type of product?
