I found a local upholstery shop that has experience in a lot of different areas including aircraft. He said that some of his customers have burned certificates on the material; some do not. He was more in favor of not having it as that’s the last thing you really need to worry about if the plane is on fire. Well that maybe true, the problem comes in when I need to sell the airplane someday.

Does anybody have a recommendation for a place to buy the fabric that would have a burn certificate?

Thanks!
