I am considering a Turbo Saratoga SP (an '80s model), and have some questions. Before I get to them, I should state that I have five people in my family (parents plus three younger kids) and I am not considering an A36 or 210 because neither has the cargo capacity, roominess, and useful load of the Saratoga. My questions are:
Intercooler
-What is the installed cost?
-What are some example performance numbers (cruise speed, altitude, fuel flow, temps, etc.)?
-How often to you need cylinder replacement/top overhaul/major overhaul with an intercooler vs. without one?
Oxygen system
-How often do you use the factory oxygen system?
-How long will it last with 5 people sucking on it?
-What is the average refill cost?
Air Conditioning (I live in Texas, and this is a must for traveling with the family)
-How reliable is the Piper factory system (this is on the '80s model 'Togas)?
-What are the typical problems and cost to fix?
