Hey all. I've never had an issue starting engines, until this past weekend. Granted, I've only had the plane since December, so this is my first summer with it. Coming back from Texas to Phoenix, stopped at Dona Ana, NM (elev 4,100') for a quick top-off and get on our way to Phoenix.

I had such a difficult time starting both engines. I looked through the POH for any Hot Start procedures, but couldn't find any. I tried every thing I could think of from previous airplanes, but nothing seemed to be working. Eventually, I was able to get them started and get on my way, but it was way harder than I thought it should be. Also, my wife in the back was not amused by it at all...

What procedures are you guys and gals using to start a hot engine? Any ideas for next time would be appreciated!

TIA
