We had the usual piper arrow electric trim failure so we swapped out the cables and went straight to the manual trim. That being said in the process the trim position indicator on the wheel is not working.

I am working on getting this fixed but is there anything saying that an aircraft cannot fly due to an inoperative trim indicator? I know for our large jets this is a no go but what about GA aircraft!?
