Today when I was doing my run up at 2000 rpms I mistakenly switched the mags off & like an idiot turned the left side back on immediately. I got one loud backfire and the engine continued to operate normally. Flew the plane for about 40 min. experiencing normal operation. I plan on removing the upper cowl to take a look at the exhaust & muffler. Could the turbo sustain damage from a backfire.
