DO NOT CALL ME. Been at the hangar for 10 hours today and just got the top side of the plane finished. Still have to do under the wings and under the fuselage. That was a chore. Before I started my A&P said a guy at the airport charges $500.00 to slick out an entire plane. About 7:00PM tonight I was ready to pay him. My plane was pretty nasty with the bugs of a summer past and I had to pre-wash with wet wipes due to me not wanting to start an ice skating rink outside the hangar. But still, that took forever. I would not do it for a knot or two speed increase but i figured it would clean the plane up nice and it is sparkling now.
