So I was directed to take off the short runway (5k ft) at KHND with a 10kt tailwind. Definitely not a pleasant experience, and one I won’t be repeating. I was near gross on my 235. I usually would rotate at 80Mph or so with that weight, with the tailwind that’s nearly a 91MPH rotate. Needed nearly 3000 ft of runway and came close to stalling.
Any other 235 drivers with experience TO w/tailwind? I can’t find any performance guidelines in the POH (of course) on this.
