If you fly into smaller strips you will encounter some that have significant slopes from end to end. My question to those here who are a lot smarter than me (ie: Jim and GM etc.) is what combination of slope and winds determine which way to take off when the wind gods blow down slope. Throw in an obstacle such as tall trees etc at the ends too. Is there a "mathematical" way to determine this rather than the seatofthepants approach I have used?
