Just bought the Cherokee. Love the airplane. Discovering that I am getting static on both radios, headsets and speaker. Does not matter which radio and which output. Usually on an approach frequency. Better on tower and atis frequencies. Probably because of the high wattage with proximity.

The two comm antennas are on top close together and with the ELT antenna right next to it. My shop thinks it is ELT antenna interference. Or static build up. Although they dont think the airplane goes fast enough to do that.

Anyone seen something like this before?
