So, my new to me Cherokee 6 was in the shop and someone dropped a tool on the stabilator and left a dent in it. I didn't even catch it till I had test flown the plane. Fly normally, but there's a 2in x 4in dent in the stabilator on the right side about 6-8in from the fuselage close to the reverse trim servo. I thought I read in here at one point, that there was a company that does swaps for stabilators for a fairly reasonable price? The shop wants to pull it and reskin it, I'd like to send it off to someone who specializes in it or has a swap out program. Anyone have a suggestion?
