I have read over my original POH and one for a 150C and cant find anything about a soft field takeoffs. So, what is the technique?
This is what I am assuming.

2 - notches of flaps.
yoke full aft.
Power full.
let the nose raise keep the tail from dragging by lowering the nose appropriately.
let the plane pop up into ground effect and accelerate.
Positve rate of climb, dump the flaps.

Going to go to the airport today and practice on asphalt.

It seems the POH kinda addresses soft field landings in that you would use full flaps and just keep the nose off the ground as long as possible instead of setting it down.
