Anyone who has landed a GA aircraft wiithout anti-lock brakes knows the importance of staying off the brakes until late in the landing roll. Sometimes adding a little power for rudder effectiveness can be your friend. But don't try to land on a very short, slick runway without considering braking effectiveness...when all else fails go around and look for a longer or dryer strip.
