I’ve been eyeing the Slick Magneto Booster for my Cherokee 140 recently & decided to run it by my mechanic at the shop. The response I got, was that I’d need to replace the impulse mag if this was installed. I went to Aircraft Spruce’s catalog & reread the advertisement for the part & it said just the opposite. I know there are pilots on Piper Forum that have talked about this particular ignition addition & id like a second opinion.
