Well I’m a little bummed. I need a special use license because of a health issue but can’t get it because the FAA licensing is shut down until Congress passes a budget. I guess my new year’s flight to Death Valley is off for a while. In the meantime, I’ll make lemonade and get my flight instructor to take me up for some training. I can certainly use it.
