This is a following to a thread I posted named:
PA28-140 RPM topping out at 2400

Last annual the compression was 57/80 74/89 72/80 75/80. The engine did reach 2550 RPM.

Through the bore scope the values did not looked burnt.

The cylinder that has the 57/80 compression.

If after running and retesting still is that low.

Should it be rebuilt?

I attached the the last oil report. The engine is "making metal". I am thinking of having that cylinder rebuilt.

Thoughts?
