Dear forum members,
Have any of you replaced the landing light on your PA28? I just had mine fail (Dakota) and I’d like to know whether this is a pilot-replaceable item, and if so, how big a deal is it?. I know it’s a Sylvania 4509. I’m not positive that this is the issue - background on that: I have noticed that on occasion, I wouldn’t see a current draw from the lamp until I cycled the switch a few times, it it would always work. Recently, this has not been the case, since the light worked consistently until today. Thoughts?
