during annual this year i found that one of the static ports mounted in the rear of the fuselage on my PA28-180 is broken, with the tube snapped off.
from the photo below it looks like it has been repaired before.
i really dont want to try another repair - and especially if i have to go to all the effort to drill out the rivets i want to replace it with a new one.
im not having any luck finding a new replacement part (piper part number is 20886-00)
the closest thing i have found in spruce's catalog is "STATIC PORT ALUMINUM 15161" which looks like i can mount from the inside, but i have no idea if the holes line up, or i need to drill new holes, or what.
i certainly would need to open up the hole for the protrusion to 1/4".

anybody have any experience with repairing / replacing this port?

thanks!
