Repaired and yellow tagged cylinder assembly kit available. They were pulled from my 0-360 after less than 300 hours since factory new. Columbia did the repair and yellow tag. Looking for $750/each + S&H. Please feel free to reach out with any questions/interest. Below is the listing on barnstormers. Thank you!

Why were they pulled?

* Orest
Hi Orest,

I found a crack in my crank case and sent the engine to Columbia Aircraft Services for an IRAN. The delta between a full overhaul with factory new cylinders and The cost to repair was insignificant in my opinion.

These cylinders were installed in 2015 and had about 288 hours before I found the crank case crack. I have all logs & work orders for anyone with real interest.

Thank you,

Michael

The correct answer is "maybe". Most, but not all, IO cylinders are angle valve - the IO-360 L2A being a common and notable parallel valve exception.

The 180HP IO-360-B1E in the earlier Arrows are parallel valve, not angle valve. The 200hp IO-360-C1C has angle valve heads.
