Has anyone here ever had their AC removed? At annual, I took off the compressor and front hoses. They all needed work/replacement anyway if I decided to get the AC operational. Now the more I think about it, I'm leaning on just pulling the rest - evaporator, condensor, etc. out. Any pitfalls to keep an eye out for? I'm assuming a sign off with new weight & balance would or should make it okie dokie. Kinda wondering what to do about the belly door situation. I'd like to keep it in a "openable" status to get into the back end easier if necessary for maintenance in the future.
