I have a Whelen LED beacon on my 180D. The flash is so "slow and steady" that it is kind of distracting on night flights. I'm looking for a quick strobe-like flash similar to what is on a lot of airliners. I think a buddy of mine had a Grimes beacon strobe that had the flash I was looking for, but can't seem to find any info on it. Here are a couple of links of the flash I am looking for:
