Hello All,
My search for a reasonably priced (to operate) twin goes on. I'm now looking at 2 5-seat 1959 Apache 23-160s. One has all Geronimo mods except for the 180hp engines and has a claimed useful load of 1325. The other is a non-Geronimo with a useful load of 1421. To me, both these loads sound really high. Are these loads realistic and truly usable with 5 on board?

All else being the same, I would assume that the Geronimo would be more desirable for the improved single engine handling. Has anyone flown both the Geronimo and original round tail who can confirm the better handling of the Geronimo?

Any gotchas to watch out for would be great to know as well.
Thanks all,
Hish
