I have a Narco MK 12+ and a KX 170B. The NARCO has almost constant squelch when the motor is run up but has good range. The KX 170B is clear but very poor range. Anyone have ideas on why my NARCO has constant static on it and my range is not optimal in my KX 170B? Any suggestions on things to check, I hate paying an avionics shop is there is something simple I can do.
