I was taught that at about 1,000 AGL to pull back to 25 squared and then back again when at cruise altitude. Lycoming says to leave everything full blast until final altitude is reached. What do YOU do? Tried full blast for the first time today and saw 1,300 on climb with just me and full fuel. If it's good enough for Lyco, I'm thinking I'll stick with it.
