I've been telling my wife I'm going to fly her to Door County and I'm going to try and make it this weekend for a Saturday afternoon flight. I've been there several years ago, but are there any recommendations on places to go? More importantly, I need to figure out transportation. I know KSUE says they have a crew car, but I'm not sure if it'll be available and I'd like to avoid a rental car at the $70 per day rate. I only plan on being there for the afternoon and coming back. Any recommendations on the ground transportion? Will a taxi suffice to get me to one downtown area? I just don't recall how big the downtown area was or how much there is to do there. If you've been there flying, let me know your thoughts!
