Does anyone know how to replace / repair the post nuts in the panel that are raised about 1/4" and are used to secure the panel cover? I have looked through the binding and sex post listings (Grainger, Hollman, et al) but nothing seems to approximate the outside diameter. Before I drill them out (2) I wanted to see if anyone has had experience replacing them. My initial thought is to remove them and do a best fit with some threaded rod which i can secure to the panel, then add a threaded barrel to allow an area for the panel cover to secure to.

Any experience is appreciated.
