I've got a 1975 PA28-151 and I'm replacing the interior with a new leather interior. Some of my windows on the front and sides have crazing and / or small inch or two long stress cracks. I'm thinking about replacing my windows while I have the interior out.

I looked on the Knots2U website and they sell windows, however, they have so many choices I don't know what to do. There are four or five thicknesses of window and four or five colors (clear, bronze, green, etc) of plastic. I don't know what to buy. Can anyone help with suggestions? What plastic thickness and color should I buy? Should the front windshields be thicker than the sides? What color should I use?

Also, I've heard about this new AD for spar inspection. I'm not sure if my plane is covered since it hasn't been a trainer and only has about 4500 hours total time airframe. However, while the interior is out should I consider having the spar inspected anyway? … Thoughts?

Thanks much to all for any suggestions.
