BRAND NEW Piper Composite Spinner supplied by Knots-2U. This spinner was purchased new and painted white. Once painted it was realized that it was the incorrect spinner for my PA-28-140 and therefore am selling. This has never been installed and is essentially brand new. This is the link to the part at Knots-2U ( Piper PA-18, PA-22, PA-28 Composite Spinner Assy. Piper part 14422-00, 14422-000. ). I paid the $750.00 US plus shipping. Make me an offer. Shipping would need to be the responsibility of the buyer.

I am actually not sure. But this is the one that actually fit my plane? Piper PA-28-151, PA-28-161 Composite Spinner. Piper part 35323-010, 35323-05, 35323-005 When I contacted Knots 2 U they simply directed me to this one. The attached image shows my old used spinner on the left and the NEW, incorrect spinner (Currently For Sale) on the Right. I think I must have an different adapter plate but as I said, I really didn't finish the follow up and trusted Knots 2 U to send me the correct one the second time. Thanks

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but going by your pic, something doesn't seem right. The one on the right, which you say does not fit your -140, looks exactly like the one on my -140. The one on the left looks nothing like the one on my -140. This has got my curiosity going.....

I looked back at my communications with Knots2U and they were able to direct me to the new spinner. I must have had an upgraded backing plate as it states the aircraft eligibility as follows. The previous owners of my plane must have changed the rear and fwd spinner bulkhead to the 35323-011 & 35323-012 combination and that is why the left image is the one that worked for my -140. I was thinking that maybe it was changed when the engine was update to the 160hp but I am 100% sure.

Aircraft Eligibility:Piper PA-28-151 S/N 28-7415001 thru 28-7715314, PA-28-161 S/N 28-7716001 thru 28-7816695.
PA-28-140 Must install as a kit With 35323-011 & -012

I agree with the two previous posts. The spinner you purchased the first time looks like the composite spinner I had installed on 1973 PA-28-140 “W160 upgrade. If there was some different install done on your plane, it should all be in your engine log.

14422-00 is the correct part for the Pa-28-140 per the parts manual.

I replaced mine in October. I used this:

Fits perfectly.

That's the same one Spruce sells. I ordered mine from Spruce because Univair didn't have any in stock.
