So here's an interesting conundrum. I'm nearing my requirements for a commercial check ride and I'm in the process of renting an Arrow for my "complex" 10 hours. I would also like to have my high performance endorsement but that is clearly stated as "over 200hp" as opposed to just 200hp. This leaves me wanting for a single HP of having my endorsement. I would think there should be an STC somewhere to increase the performance of the motor by at least one HP. Would say a Powerflow Exhaust work, or something more simple? The small flight school simply cannot offer the endorsement and I don't want to leave for a much more expensive 210 or some such elsewhere.

Honestly, the problem is one of administrative BS, I was just wondering if there was an equally administrative BS, legit solution?

Maybe its a biz opportunity to develop an STC?
