Two questions for the forum:

(A) Yesterday, while on the ground right after starting the engine, we got the ‘gear in transition’ warning light at low RPMs. Never had that happen before. At higher RPMs the light would go off. No indication that the gear was having any issues. Anyone else ever get this indication?

(B) Potentially related....towards the end of our flight, our left main landing light came on (but dim...indicating not fully down and locked). Again, no indication that the gear was down or hanging....no drag, no noise....everything seemed fine. landing gear extended and locked no issues.

Is it possible that we just have a faulty ‘gear down’ sensor? Anything else that anyone has experienced?

Mike
