Hey all, I have a PA-46 with the Lycoming TIO-540-AE2A. I was getting slight vibration, higher temps on leaning to the typical fuel flow and it started missing at 17,000 and above. The A&P found that the timing had shifted slightly (new mags installed 30 hours ago) and it was possibly a combination of not getting the TDC exactly and the mag blocks wearing in. He re-timed and cleaned and gapped the plugs to 0.015 and it is running great, no vibration, not missing and leans out at least .5 gallons more at cruise with temps staying the same as prior. This is more of an informational post if anyone else runs into this.
