Renter just taxied out and straight back in this morning - the aircraft kept pulling to the left even with a boatload of right rudder. I pulled the panel behind the nose gear hoping to find a broken rod end - no such luck, broken nose gear mount. Wondering how this can happen? The alignment between the 2 channels looked good at the last 100hr (10 hours ago), last flight yesterday was a multi check ride, wonder if dropping the gear while on a single engine approach holding a load of rudder could contribute to this?
