The parts manual (761 538), diagram in the Control System Group/Control System Installation (p 1J11), lower right, the bellcrank and aileron rod ends.
The internal aileron rod end in the diagram does not reflect my reality. In fact, if you consider how the diagram would work, you will find it is nonsense. In reality both ends are the same, corresponding to (17). Check your installation for confirmation before ordering parts.
Also the likely correct bolt (45) is an AN3-10. The parts list is confusing and may be interpreted to indicate AN3-16 (way too long).
The bellcrank end actually looks like this:
Bottom line: Before any parts purchase or maintenance, pull the inspection panels and inspect.
