I searched first before creating this and didnt find a specific post for this year. I guess this will be it.
My father and I are headed to AirVenture this year. Our first ever. Very excited for all things Aviation. Weve purchased our full week passes. We have one other airplane right now confirmed to go.
Anyone else?
Meetup places and day / times?
Articles, checklists or tips for first timers?
We want to camp North 40 and are planning to head out Saturday before the open (July 21st). If weather permits and we make it Saturday, is airplane camping allowed that saturday? Im guessing yes as Mooney caravan, Cessna to osh and other groups plan for a Saturday arrival per their website FAQs. But maybe this is just open to the large groups and not individuals.
Any wisdom is appreciated.
