I recently found out that I will need to send back my Sky Beacon for warranty work and discussed upgrading to the Tail Beacon so I can install a set of marker light and strobe lights for better visibility. I was hoping that Uavionix was going to make a matching light TSO'd but it dosent look good. I toyed with the idea of trying to get the Sky Sensor installed and then get a 337 and field approval but was advised this would be a major pain in the U know what. So now I'm thinking of purchasing the Orion 650 to install on the Warrior. Im looking for recommendations from anyone who has installed these and product reviews. As I have never had wing tip strobes there will be no drivers that I need to remove. I also understand that I will need to fish a sync wire through the wings to get them timed up properly as not to cause a distraction. All in I think I can get this done for about 1100 bucks and then I will have LEDs everywhere but the old vertical marker light, which I can later remove, replace, or just leave it.
