I recently had a gal come to my office with a delema. She had the pilot logbooks of her father that has passed away several years ago. She's trying to identify some of the airports in the books to create a map of his travels. Some of the identifiers of the larger airports are the same. Many of the smaller airports identifiers have been changed. Anyone have any insight on where / how to find the older identifiers. This is between the years 1998 and 2008.
Any guidance is appreciated. As luck would have it I recently threw away many years of old sectionals. Thanks.
