A couple of pre flights ago I noticed a dime sized spot of oil on the nose gear wheel pant.Didn't/couldn't find the source then. The oil level was @ the 6qt mark as usual.
The next time I flew noted the same thing....this time I looked a bit harder oil was still about 6qts after flying a couple of hours spot was about the same.Found a little oil on the vacuum pump housing and the housing it sits on at he back of the engine o320D2A.Not much mind you but it was there.

Talked with my A&P about it ,he believes it is a seal around the shaft coming out of the accessory housing,I have a parts book but I'm not sure exactly what he is talking about.Seems like an O ring and a seal are in the area but the diagram is hard to tell/see.

He said order the part, get new gaskets and take the pump off along with the housing then we'd get together and replace it.He's out of the country now so I can't get any other info.

Any of you mechanics on here know the part number for the item???

Thanks
