Hi all,

I'm looking at a 140 with 200 hrs SMOH that has been stated to burn 1 qt every 15 hours. Is this excessive?

The engine was overhauled 4 years ago although cylinders weren't replaced at that time. One however needed to be replaced since. The other 3 have compressions in the 70's. Is it unusual to not have the cylinders replaced at overhaul? Approximately how much does a new cylinder cost?

Thanks all!

Terry
