So there is a thread with a bunch of input from PA28 folks on the forum on normal oil levels on the dipstick and where people run their engines. But I've read back pretty far through all the PA32 threads here and haven't seen any discussion of that for the IO-540.

I realize every engine is a little bit different in where it likes to sit and how much oil it might immediately cough up. But where do your oil levels tend to sit at and at what level do you typically add oil?

Thanks in advance as I work to learn more about operating my new-to-me engine. By the way, I'm flying a normally aspirated 540 in a Saratoga, but any input is welcome!
