Hi All
Just had a Garmin/Apollo GX-60 IFR GPS installed in my Cherokee 180. We took the plane out for a fly to test the functionality of the GPS. So we did the RNAV approach to runway 23 at X35:

Everything was going splendid until we reached the FAF WEGSO and then the GPS Displayed a big message: Abort Approach No Valid Altitude Input
The GPS would not allow me to continue the approach and I had to go visual. Went back to the avionics shop who just installed it and they confirmed the GPS is receiving altitude from the blind encoder.
So anybody ever encountered this before?
What is the fix?
