Not sure how much you can learn from this - A bum clenching moment when you realise the under-carriage isn't down and locked. Recycle the gear, check the light bulbs, circuit breakers and hydraulic pump OK, Emergency Manual Gear drop...Nada. No more options. Turned out to be a gear down limit switch that failed, lots of alarms when you reduce manifold pressure and stick in 2 notches of flap. This after an extensive under-carriage service - who would have thought. Anyway my wife greased the landing and the gear didn't collapse. Can't show you that part as the SD card maxed out at that crucial point.
PS - did learn something. Would not have detected the limit switch failure on the pre-flight as the "leaf switch depressor" - for want of a better word, was in place and if not all the alarms would have gone off when you turned on the master switch. ALSO Don't strap your Qxygen bottle on the back of your seat over the POH.
