My newly acquired 180D includes a placard that reads: "THIS AIRCRAFT APPROVED FOR NIGHT I.F.R. NON-ICING FLIGHT WHEN EQUIPPED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 91 OR FAR 135." I understand this is a common placard in PA28 aircraft, but my AFM (Report VB-163) does not appear to include this as a required placard. Can someone point me to the source of this requirement?
