I had my plane painted about 11 months ago and at that time the wing root seals were replaced with new ones. Im finding that when I touch them now with a rag they are transferring black to everything that makes contact with them. I can't see them degrading that rapidly. Is there any topical solution that can be applied to them that will help preserve them and slow this process down.
