As a beta tester for Adveture Pilot, I get the newest software before
it hits the street.
Their latest releases is fantastic! The biggest changes are geo-referenced
approach plates, and ADS-B compatibility.

The approach plates are as before, but with your little green airplane
super imposed on the plate. Unbelievable situational awareness!
It tracks around on the approach plates the same as it does on the VFR
and IFR charts.

I don't have an ADS-B receiver yet, but free (yes free) weather and traffic
will be be displayed, depending on which type ADS-B system you have.

The pricey XM weather may be hurting in the future.
